Dunes at Kamloops - this place is called - located to the north of the city on the North Thomson River.
This region is one of Canada's most dense regions - also called Desert Valley. The mostly bare and gray mountain slopes bear witness to this.
From the large clubhouse terrace are the dunes visible, which are however all artificial. Huge earth movements were necessary to build this course. In the expansive area a very good place has been created which lives up to its name, there are no trees.
Wide neat ondulated fairway invite one to gobble the driver and give full throttle. If the ball lands in the dunes there is a lot of extra work - if you find it. On some holes a tee with a good carry is required - otherwise adios.
Neatly ondulierte greens - big, partly very big - expect the player. They are well defended, play very well, but were not very fast.
