Set within the scenic lake highlands near Them, Himmelbjerg Golf Club offers a distinct nature experience close to one of Denmark's iconic peaks. The centerpiece is the 18-hole Himmelbjergbanen, which winds through dramatic, undulating terrain featuring deep ravines, winding streams, and mixed woodlands. Precision is essential as the landscape shifts between open land and sheltered forest holes. For a shorter round, the 9-hole Bakbjergbanen boasts the highest greens in the country. A unique landmark is the brick replica of the Himmelbjerg Tower, visible from the terrace of Café Mulligans.

Nice place in the Danish interior

We, mediocre players, played the course for the first time. The reception was very friendly and very helpful to us non-Danish speaking guests. The lady at the reception spoke good German.
The golf course itself adapts wonderfully to the hilly landscape and has some playful challenges. The landing zone of some runways is not visible, so that the edge of the playing field is adorned with some bells. In the best summer weather, the place requires a good level of fitness.
Beautiful views are rewarding for the effort. This place is fun.
As a mobile home owner it was no problem to spend the night in the parking lot.
