This is a lovely designed park land golf course with great quality fairways and greens.
Also low Hcp players find it interesting to play.
Has it challenge when the wind is blowing.

Beautiful course in the middle of Hermanus. No major differences in elevation. Not too difficult to play, but some fairways are not so easy as they are quite narrow. Water comes into play on several holes. Club facilities are not the prettiest but OK. Staff very friendly.

The place is well maintained and in good shape. Good quality greens and sand. the track labeling is consistently poor / non-existent, the place is easy to walk and the green fee is moderate. the halfway house is the best.
hermanus is a 3 x 9-hole course.
Who is assigned which third changes daily and is a matter of luck.
holes 1 to 14 are topographically very beautiful in terms of layout and surroundings. it goes through a hilly, rolling landscape bordered by old trees - a pleasure to play.
From lane 15 it gets flat and banal.
And holes 19 to 27 are totally forgettable - flat, totally interchangeable. from the 15th hole, it can only just be given 3 stars, actually it's more like 2*
Therefore, all in all, it's only enough for 3 stars.
after all, the following applies to all 27 lanes: the greens are without exception beautifully undulating and challenging.
whoever gets the constellation in such a way that the second nine holes are no. 19-27, it is worth considering playing/paying for only their nine holes. I would definitely not play the 19-27 again.
