Characteristics
Located just a short drive from the ski resort of Vemdalen, Hede-Vemdalens GK offers a surprising golfing experience in the heart of Härjedalen. Contrary to what one might expect in this alpine region, this is not a rugged mountain course but a beautifully maintained parkland layout built on fertile riverside soil. Designed by Sune Linde, the 18-hole course winds along the Ljusnan river, which comes into play on several holes, most notably the challenging 9th. Golfers enjoy spectacular views of the Sonfjället National Park while navigating large, undulating greens and strategic water hazards found on almost every fairway. The relaxed clubhouse completes this scenic northern Swedish golf adventure.
