Characteristics
Established in 1892, Harrogate Golf Club holds the title of the town's oldest course, located just minutes from the historic spa center. This 18-hole parkland layout weaves through gently undulating terrain, framed by mature trees and ancient oaks. The design bears the mark of legendary architects Harry Colt and Alister Mackenzie, particularly in the contouring of the greens. While not excessively long, the course demands strategy, especially on the challenging Par 3s. The experience is completed by an Edwardian colonial-style clubhouse, where a veranda overlooks a manicured rose garden.

You either love them or hate them: time-honored English golf clubs with par 4s of 234 meters but also four par 4s as final holes, the shortest of which is 365 meters (all from yellow, of course, we are not in a competition)! The weather was good, the course was in very good condition and the men's captain explained to you at the first tee what pitfalls the course has to offer.
