We used a buggy and were very glad we did. The course was of average maintenance. It was noticeable that many fallen and dead trees hadn't been cleared away. On one hole, there was even a fallen tree right in the middle of the fairway. The greens were okay but very slow. The paths between the holes were sometimes very long and covered with gravel, making them unsuitable for walking.

The BvM course was in excellent condition today. The first five holes are very fair thanks to their wide fairways. The bunkers, however, are quite challenging. From hole 6 onwards, the course enters the woods with elevated greens that require approaching over narrow passages. Hole 9, on the other hand, offers a beautiful elevated tee shot overlooking the valley. Since we stayed at a partner hotel, the price was very reasonable.

Although the greenkeeper had already driven over the greens in the morning, the green on hole 2 was completely covered in dirt, just disgusting and extremely weak! As has already been described several times, the beautiful and challenging part of the course begins with hole 6. The attractive men's tee on hole 7 was unfortunately not in use. On hole 8 you have to play precisely straight ahead. On at least one green the ground was being repaired. The green on hole 18 is a very nice finish.
