Very dry tracks in mid-May
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 9, 2026
Due to the rather hot weather and high humidity, we only played 9 holes (back 9). We were on the course on May 24,2026. The fairways are quite varied and – as mentioned in other reviews – fairly wide and quite easy to play. Hole 15 (if I remember correctly), a par 3, is located right next to the beautiful sandy beach and is probably the signature hole.
Unfortunately, the Bermuda grass isn't green at this time of year (end of the dry season), but the balls do travel very far. The surrounding flora and fauna are exceptionally diverse, as one would expect in Costa Rica :-). For green fees, rental clubs (in excellent condition), and a golf cart, we paid approximately USD 150 for two players. I would gladly play on this course again anytime.

Long and wide

Very spacious golf course with wide fairways and large greens. Top practice facility with a nice restaurant and pro shop. Only in the bunkers is sand in short supply.

Nice experience
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed February 27, 2019
The place is well maintained and in scenic surroundings. The special feature is hole 15, a par 3, where you play directly on the sea. Otherwise, the place is unspectacular: The terrain is flat and usually you can see the flag already at the tee. The greens are often lined with bunkers, water butts do not exist. By the end of February, the fairways had dried up, the greens were watered and kept in perfect condition. The clubhouse is small and functional, the service uncomplicated and friendly. All in all, a nice golfing experience, but not a highlight.

A good golf destination in Costa Rica
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 16, 2011
I have played this course mid-May. So the end of high season. There was little player. Still, the place was well maintained and the staff friendly. It was authorized to deviate from the price list, which we knew to appreciate. The Mietsets were ok, the small pro shop we found what we needed. Not cheap but a good address.
