Great 9-hole course with fantastic service!

We had a truly wonderful time here. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When the weather spoiled our plans and we had to wait for rain to interrupt our round, they were extremely accommodating: we're welcome to come back next time to continue our game! The course itself is a really beautiful 9-hole course, impeccably maintained. We'll definitely be back!

A beautiful, old and traditional club just behind the Ruhr dike awaits you in the green lung of Essen.
A large tennis club and the ETUF's nine-hole golf course are located along the Ruhr River. The completely flat fairways are set in a beautiful, mature parkland setting.
The parking lot of the Essen Gymnastics and Fencing Club's golf course is located behind a small barrier and welcomes guests in a very friendly manner!

Basically I prefer to play 18 different lanes instead of 2 x 9. But the course in Etuf Essen is extremely nice and I have only met pleasant members of the club.
Precise play helps well with the occasionally narrow lanes. It's better to use a stick or a long iron instead of the driver.

Beautiful golf course next to the Baldeneysee

I played the 9-hole course in mid-May total of three times. Once the 18-hole round and once as a small 9-hole round in between. It is a flat course with lovely, old trees. The holes are varied. But as the course had to find space between a road and the Baldeneysee, precise play is required. The requested HC 36 is fully justified. The total investment was in top condition - only in two tracks had to May 2015 putt on a green replacement since a burst pipe had caused damage here recently. This circumstance was however supported by the very friendly staff with a green fee adjustment account.
My team-mates were also pleasantly unpretentious, very friendly members.
