Disappointing

I chose this course on the basis of its description but I was disappointed by the lack of attention in comparison to the others in the area. There are no markers along the fairway, there are no next tee signs. The signs which show the layout of the hole are placed in such a way, that once standing on the tee, you are looking at the advertisement on the back. I also found the layout of the course somewhat crummy. By the way: do not expect to see the Möhnesee from the course. Further: this may have been an incident but while I was playing around noon, there were constantly a number of very noisy mowers and blowers on the fairways, spoiling my pleasure for at least 14 of the 18 holes. I would say that work like that should have been done in the early hours. I will not come back.

3 years ago I left GC Möhnesee as a member for various reasons. After the bankruptcy at the end of 2020, the area was taken over by Gut Köbbinghof. At the beginning of the year I was curious about what was happening there. In March I signed up for a round and was greeted very friendly. I didn't know that from earlier times.
After a few lanes I enjoyed the great condition of the course including the greens, which were never in such condition at the end of March. I was told the place was now being maintained externally. In addition, the golf school Böhme from Dortmund will teach from 1.5. I told all of this at home to my wife and we became members again straight away because the course with its sensational layout is a delight for every golfer. Another insider tip... Top for motorhome fans. The parking lot in the middle of the golf courses is ideal for overnight stays. I can only recommend 100%. Keep it up :):)

I played the course in summer 2016 and must express here my absolute enthusiasm!!! The condition of the place is absolutely great and almost on tour standard!!! Despite the zig zag summer it was one of my best round of golf. For all of this, is the great design of the course: It goes up and down, you have great views of the nearby tress and the Arnsberg Forest, on the tee of 8 even on the Möhnesee. All in all a really great day and this place is highly recommended and able to compete with other Topplätzen! Only the concept of catering you should reconsider times.
