Great day at Golfpark Rosenhof

Very nice Golf club with very friendly people and a good Italian restaurant.
Practice was perfect. Big driving range, nice chipping and putting green. We played the course from the white tee and the blue tee. Minor problem there were no blue tee's on the tee boxes. Sometimes blue = yellow, sometimes blue = red, but sometimes the blue tee had to be in between. The stroke index on the score cards did not match the stroke index mentioned on the holes. Besides these organisational issues it is a fabulous course. Tee boxes in perfect shape. Fairways in good condition and the greens good, not the fastest greens but really nice greens to play on. Best advice I can give is to keep the ball on the fairway. The rough is hard but fair.
On the first holes we noticed the sound of the highway, but that disappeared quickly into the sound of birds. The wind is an important player on this course which makes it fun to play. The course lay-out is really nice. I can only recommend this course to play. All people at the Golfpark Rosenhof were very helpful and friendly although they do not all speak good English. I wish you all a very nice day at this golf course, take the time for a shower in the dressing rooms (really nice) and to eat in the Italian restaurant. I’m sure you will have a wonderful day.

The sea of flowers in summer is a ball-eating monster

Great inland links with a lot of small hills and dune grass overgrown, some blind and treacherous holes and peppered through and through with nasty bunkers, as we know it from England or Scotland by the sea. The meter-high sea of flowers rough, which turns out to be a ball-eating monster if you don't play with precision, is dangerous.
The Italian restaurant is great, great dishes. The family club atmosphere is particularly warm here at the Rosenhof.

Recommendation

Top care condition. Very nicely integrated into the landscape. Flat but still varied and not so easy due to the length of some tracks. Very friendly staff.
