The Aschheim Golf Park is a relatively short but strategically very interesting golf course. The lack of length is compensated for by many bunkers in drive length and many penalty areas. This results in many Risk & Reward situations, at several holes also in heroic design (e.g. holes 5,7 or 13). The bunkers are generally very nicely designed and well distributed in large numbers. It was particularly beautiful at 18, where the green bunker in front of it in the old English manner blocks the view of the green. Unfortunately, there is a strange, small penalty area on the right at this hole, directly in drive length, which seems very inappropriate. Unfortunately, the greens are only partially more undulating and could often use more exercise. In my opinion, the most beautiful hole is the six, a couple of five that can be played as a threeshoter.
