Really interesting course, all staff speak great English and the food in the clubhouse is great too!
The top tracer range is absolutely out of this world. Course was in great condition when I played (April 2023)

The golf course at Golfpark Metzenhof consists of a beautifully designed and varied 18-hole golf course and the inn and hotel of the same name with 31 beautiful, comfortable rooms and a great swimming pond for guests.
A stay of several days is a good idea here - book a room and plan several rounds of golf. After the round of golf, the swimming pond also tempts you to cool down.
The well-kept golf course is very nicely laid out, not only in terms of play, but also visually, with many ponds, hedges, grass, bunkers, etc. The fairways are mostly wavy, as you know it from links courses. The first 9 lanes are slightly hilly, but very nice to play, the rear 9 lanes are mostly flat and also very nicely laid out. Most lanes are separated by heaped-up hills with smaller trees, which promotes the flow of the game, since imprecise shots do not have to be searched endlessly in a dense forest or elsewhere...
A special feature of the golf course is the modern Gemma Golfn driving range including a bar on the 1st floor and 8 Toptracer tee boxes on 2 floors. So there is no boredom even in bad weather!

We played the course this October after 2 years break and were pleasantly surprised with the good performance. The course maintenance looks very professional. The greens could be even better. The fairways allow even aggressive play, because the balls are mostly to be found for a slice or hook again. Some short par 4 also allow simple approximations with good birdie chances. Just a shame that the really attractive clubhouse and restaurant is still smoky. Non smoking have to move to the unattractive side room. Therefore we come frühestems 2018 again.
