Characteristics

The golf course was set up in close proximity to the city, but in an extremely quiet location. A horseshoe of woodlands surrounds the course, which was perfectly embedded into the sloped landscape. From a golfer's perspective, the course meets any and all demands: Each hole has a different design, and the uphill-downhill character, interrupted by idyllic water hazards and a diverse panoramic view of the Danube valley, makes this course a real treat.

Beautiful, green, great gastronomy, but a bit too many hills

August 2025: Very nice reception in the office and restaurant.
We found the course's landscape to be beautiful. Very green and well-maintained. Yes: By no means boring. But yes: quite hilly. Too often, it repeatedly goes through a large depression, so you first play downhill and then up again. That's an annoying course layout; it could have been designed in a serpentine shape, and even today, one or two things could be changed.
From 1 to 9, it was fine. When you look down the "mouth" of the 10th and back up again, you'll want to order a cart. (But "sitting" in a cart is never the point of golf or sport.) Then it often becomes blind, which is always annoying. Only the last three holes were more well-thought-out.
The clubhouse and restaurant are beautifully situated next to old trees. We were there with our RV, but unfortunately the pitches are on grassy ground, which, with a motorhome weighing over 3 tons, leads to quite muddy ground after a night's rain. A gravel pitch would be nice for both parties. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained (I wonder if the shower water is always as cold as ours? Not a problem in this heat, though.) The restaurant is very good and very well attended. In general, the site was well attended, including by an exceptionally large number of athletic young players. Overall, though, the crowd was quite diverse. Not too crowded, but pleasantly sociable.
We just have to say: With so many ups and downs, we are not planning a comeback.

Sophisticated course in an idyllic location

A beautifully designed, idyllically located course with well-maintained fairways. Very challenging and hilly in places, but by no means boring!

Beautifully hilly with great views over the golf course and surrounding area

The 18-hole course is quite hilly. For the most part, the fairways run through a large depression, so that you first play downhill and then up again.

Together with the visually attractive fairways mown in strips, the game is a lot of fun. No two holes are the same. In many places you have a wide view over the golf course and other holes. There are also views of the surrounding area.

Due to the topography, we used an e-cart, which made the game even more fun :-)

The clubhouse is located in the middle of the estate. From the terrace you can look out onto the beautifully designed courtyard, with its large chestnut trees and beautiful fountain.

We visited with our motorhome. There are two designated parking spaces in the short-stay car park. That's where we parked. But there is another parking space next to a commercial building with electricity, where you can park under the trees.

We will definitely come back!
