Characteristics
Located on the southern edge of Emmen on the historic Hondsrug ridge, Golfparc Sandur offers a distinctive golfing experience where nature and history meet. Designed by renowned architect Frank Pont in 2005, this 9-hole course (Par 68) is cleverly integrated into a landscape of woodlands, rolling hills, and water features. A defining characteristic of the layout is the presence of large glacial boulders dating back to the Ice Age, adding a unique visual element to the game. While the course is relatively short, it demands precision and smart strategy from players of all levels. The club prides itself on a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, best enjoyed from the pavilion terrace which offers panoramic views over the greens.

Amazingly varied and exciting

Have rarely ever been so amazed about a 9-hole course: the place has sophistication!
The terrain is very wavy, fairways good, sand top, greens exciting undulating and the way to the greens each peppered with challenges - eg narrow fairways, left and right always with * annoyance potential * like tight rows of trees, water, bushes, reed, bunker. So driver - fairwaywood - chip & put's here (usually) not. Tactics are always in demand here. It was really fun.
Price-performance also agree... 35 € for 18 hole (2 x 9 hole) on a saturday. under the stroke: scarce scarred past the 5 *.
