The 18-hole golf course is beautifully and idyllically located in the middle of a forest. No two courses are the same.
The layout boasts plenty of doglegs, water hazards, undulating fairways and very large greens, offering pure variety. The tees in particular often offer a park-like view. Some of these are located in aisles, with winding paths to the fairway. Visually very nicely laid out and generally in good condition.
The club restaurant offers a clear menu with a selection of typical golf course fare, but always fresh and of outstanding quality. Inside you sit in a stylish barn setting, outside you can sit in some cozy niches between the hedges.

We were served very kindly by the secretary. The course is well maintained and has beautifully laid out fairways. Suitable for beginners and advanced players. Unfortunately, we would have needed knee-high rubber boots. If we have another dry and hot summer, we would be happy to play the course again, as it will be a joy with its beautiful trees.
The food at Loch 19 was delicious and the service was friendly. We were able to camp independently with our motorhome.

When we visited in mid-June 2023, the entire facility was in top condition.
Everything has already been said about the course here: narrow forest aisles, many doglegs and almost all greens with bunkers. Water only comes into play on a few tracks. Most balls that go in the direction of the forest - and are not spit out - can hardly be found there.
Although the ladies in the secretariat and in the gastro were very friendly, we found the behavior of the members towards guests rather reserved. This starts with the first look in PC Caddy (as a guest you can only view the occupancy of the current day and not book it yourself). In contrast, one is amazed by the cf. cheap GF.

I went golfing for the first time today. I really enjoyed playing golf at this facility. The GC VW has a lot to get to know, the trainers are also absolutely enthusiastic and polite to teach you how to play golf. Very well manicured lawn can also be seen. My wife and I were looking forward to a nice round in Vechta today. We had always read very positive and interesting reviews. The joy and fun were largely gone after lane 3. The greens in an unworthy condition, the fairways too high. Some tracks were a little better but still not good. Overall, the condition was rather unfortunate. It's a shame, because the facility actually has a cozy North German charm and the layout of the space is interesting and demanding. We were very disappointed and will not play there again.
