If you visited the Urweltmuseum Holzmaden like we did, then the 9-hole course in the immediate vicinity is ideal. Very friendly reception in the Secretariat, you feel welcome as a guest, well-kept facility (practice facilities, fairways, greens) in top condition. Point of criticism: From some greens to the next tee you have to go back and the following flight has to wait until you are out of the danger zone. Ambience: The clubhouse is modern and up to date, there is nothing to complain about. Gastronomy Italian and highly recommended. All day drinks. Restaurant lunch 12:00 - 1:30 p.m., evenings from 5:30 p.m.

We have played 2 x 18 holes here in the last few weeks. The tracks are varied, in very good condition and overall rather shorter. There is no par 5 and the longest run is just 350 m long. The shortest par 3 is 84 m long. The challenges lie in the narrow lanes that require precise play. And as a highlight at the end there is an island green on hole 9.
Those who are used to large, long championship courses will not get their money's worth here. But if you can't play the really great lengths, you have a variety of opportunities to improve your iron game. In addition, the office always gave us friendly information about everything worth knowing and during our rounds the people on the square were very friendly and relaxed; just like we like to play golf. Only the price level is unfortunately a bit higher than we are used to from our place. Up to Euro 60 daily green fee on the weekend is a whopping 50% more than on our comparable 9-hole course that we play regularly. Unfortunately, that will prevent us from playing here more often.
