Characteristics
With great sensitivity for the gently undulating Upper Palatinate landscape, a playful and scenic 18-hole golf course has been created here. Trees, bushes, streams and ponds make the course attractive and varied.
The first nine holes are characterized by a natural mixed tree population and blend harmoniously into the landscape.
The second nine holes are somewhat more spacious and offer wonderful views of the beautiful Stiftland landscape.
You can end your round of golf on our cozy sun terrace in the Restaurant da Nunzio.
Our parking spaces with 3 e-charging stations are located directly at the clubhouse. Behind the 18th green we have 10 motorhome parking spaces with electricity. Dogs are also welcome on our course on a leash!

A challenging course with several slopes, but top-notch!

GC Stiftland was our first stop on our 2026 campervan trip. We were definitely impressed with the pitches; there are five or six level spots, and I saw four electrical hookups. We weren't the only motorhomes there.
The course is challenging, long, with many slopes, especially on the back nine. Balls tend to roll into the rough and disappear if the approach shot isn't hit. I didn't play good golf in either of my rounds; the course didn't suit my game, but it certainly didn't like my balls…
Overall, we found the whole atmosphere there really lovely, a wonderful start to our trip. We didn't use the club restaurant because there's a restaurant right next door (Kleine Kappl) with excellent food, where we ate twice (although unfortunately they only had a limited menu on Sunday). The club restaurant (Italian) is also supposed to be very good, according to our fellow campers who have been there many times. The Czech border isn't far away, so a trip there would certainly be tempting, but we were drawn further southwest…
Overall, I would give the campsite 4.5 stars. We were also allowed to refill our water bottles before we continued.

From the tee to the fairways and greens, a very playable course.
Of the three clubs we played, Stiftland was the highlight!
