Characteristics
Situated ca 25 miles north of Munich, this course provides for a diversified but sophisticated game. Holes 1 to 9 were laid out in the vast meadowland of the river Illm. While holes 1 to 3 call for long shots, holes 5 to 7 feature ponds and water ditches, thus demanding a great amount of precision. Nestling in the gentle slopes of the tertiary uplands, holes 10 to 18 are the most sophisticated and require a good physical condition.

We visit many different golf courses every year with our motorhome. This is one of our favorites.

The first nine holes are relaxed to play, but flat terrain is exciting and challenging to play due to several water hazards, especially when attacking. Not so advanced players get along well. Stay a little shorter to be on the safe side.
Sportsmanship is required on the second nine holes. An electric trolley is advisable, because it often goes uphill steeply. But that's exactly what makes it exciting. In addition to inclines, hillsides, a stream, trees and other details also challenge playful ability and physical condition.
Personally, I found the backline more interesting and better. Just sport and an incredibly beautiful golfing experience on a super nice course that is in perfect condition.
