Characteristics
In the middle of one of the loveliest regions of Westphalia, the 18-hole course arose in a romantic valley of the Repe - a water and nature preserve. Attendorn is situated in the southern part of the region Sauerland and impresses with the magnificent scenery of a low mountain range as well as with the skilful combination of ecological planning and natural variety in the design of the course. A 6-hole training course is availible for everyone.

Beautiful Place

Everyone was very friendly. The place has its challenges.
There are many inclines, you have to get used to that.
On foot, I must say some of the paths between the holes are very long and bumpy; a cart is definitely advisable, especially in this hot weather. All in all, a lovely day of golf with beautiful views.
However, it must be said that the course is very well maintained for its size, although one has to get used to the dull, slow greens.

Great place to play golf!

The course is truly beautifully laid out. The fairways are varied and challenging, with almost all of them featuring slopes. The only thing that might be missing is water features. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the golf course. Especially because of the fantastic views of the magnificent panorama.
The condition was excellent. The greens could have been a bit faster. The course continues generally fairly off the fairway, too.
Although there's only a club room instead of a restaurant, it's perfectly adequate for a final drink on the terrace after a round.
The lady at the reception is very nice and helps with any questions.
The sanitary facilities also leave nothing to be desired.
Now a small BUT at the end.
We're traveling in a motorhome and were quite surprised to see two signs in the parking lot stating that you have to pay €15 to stay at the hotel across the street. No parking while playing golf? Overnight stay? Motorhomes not allowed? No service at all! No electricity, no use.
Luckily, the reception was no longer staffed at 9:30 p.m., so we avoided the completely obsolete parking fee. It's still a bit off-putting, though.

The golf course impresses with its incredibly beautiful views.
The topography is unique. The condition was very good in September. OK, the greens could have been a bit better but that's nature and as the course is in a nature reserve and water protection area, you can overlook that. We were passing through in our camper van and the first impression, the extraordinary friendliness of Mr Buschmann (club secretary), was outstanding. You just have to enjoy the course and especially the wonderful views of nature. The best thing to do is to take a golf cart and enjoy. I would absolutely recommend the course.
