Situated in the wonderful Upper Swabian landscape, the Golfclub Ravensburg offers an fascinating panoramic view of the Alps. Next to a sophisticated course, it is the friendly atmosphere of the club that makes a longer stay worthwhile. The 6-hole short course open to the public as well as the large driving range including a golf school and training greens are available even for non-members and without a course admission.

Very long lanes

The condition of the place leaves nothing to be desired. The tee boxes as well as the greens and fairways were in perfect condition in mid-September. However, we were surprised by the length of some tracks, which make the course more difficult. Reception and restaurant try to take care of every guest, but in the morning before the game it was not possible to get a coffee because there was nobody in the restaurant. Nevertheless, we can recommend the place.

A well-maintained golf course. The square design is, as a previous reviewer criticized quite aptly, rather unusual to nonsensical. There are only three par 3 holes, all of which are very long from 180-200 m. This has the disadvantage that the normal golfer has to use the driver or a five-stick. In return, however, there are three very short par 4 holes less than 250 meters. Two very long par 5 holes that go up the mountain and are felt to be 600 m long... As well as two very long par 4 holes... Six lanes run parallel to each other, which spoils the variety and the joy of playing very much... The greens are well maintained and on track. There are much more attractive and beautiful places in the Lake Constance region. I am happy to recommend the Weissensberg, Konstanz and Schloss Langenstein golf clubs, about which I have written separate reviews.
