Characteristics
Situated uniquely between the city of The Hague and the dunes of Kijkduin, Golf Ockenburgh offers a challenging 9-hole course. The layout is defined by narrow fairways, numerous bunkers, and attractive water features that demand precision over power. Thanks to the natural sandy soil and its sheltered location within the dunes, the course remains playable on summer greens almost year-round. The facility includes extensive practice areas and the inviting Paviljoen Ockenburgh, perfect for relaxing after a tactical round near the coast.

A Great Day Out

I had not played golf in a long while so when me and a few friends we jumped at the chance to relive golfing moments and so we arrived at Ockenburgh. Ockenburgh has a warm friendly ambiance that you cant fail to notice. The golf course is well kept narrow challenging fairways and very good greens and the water hazzards if you are not a duck, you dont want to be in there. The people who work here are very warm and welcome you to play this great 9-hole course, soon to be 18. We made the perfect choice to come here and have revisited many times since. With excellent food and something to quench your thirst after your round this golf course has much to offer.

Small is beautiful

In the summer of 2012, I played several times on this course. The facility is very nice and well maintained, with a good deal of trees on the right and left of the fairway. So you have to just hit well. Water, it is also important to overcome, a green located on a small island.
Even if the place is very short (only 2xPar4, all other par 3) it is at least for players like me (-30) a little challenge.
After the round, you can enjoy a drink in a pretty beer garden.
The green fee prices are very moderate.
