Characteristics
The Golfclub Nahetal has a distinct friendly and informal atmosphere and an excellent restaurant offering regional and international specialties. Due to its undulating terrain and partly very narrow fairways framed by a population of old trees, the 18-hole course calls for precise and strategic shots. The terrific view of the Rotenfels from the dogleg of the 7th hole certainly is a highlight.

It's always a pleasure to play here as a guest. The course is varied and, even in this extreme drought, it's in excellent condition. The greens are well-watered and true. Since the course is located in the woods, it also offers plenty of shade. There are fantastic views of the surrounding area. The pro shop staff are always exceptionally friendly.
Clean, spacious changing rooms and showers are available, and after the game you can linger very pleasantly on the beautiful terrace with a drink and food.

We played the pitch last week and were very impressed.
Excellent condition, fast greens and challenging fairways. Plus, very empty and pleasantly shaded. (It was a hot day).
Very nice secretary.
The course design is a matter of taste. Apart from the par 3 holes, there was only one hole where you could see the flag from the tee. There are many doglegs and heavily undulating fairways. Nevertheless, the course is very playable and enjoyable.

We were in the Nahe Valley in mid-April. Friendly office staff, golf clubs at half price, well-maintained course, restaurant okay.
The only downside: there were children playing in the bunker on hole 18. Otherwise everything was great and we'd gladly come again.
