Characteristics
The hilly course is situated in the nature preserve of the Tollensesee Basin. In several spots offer a view on the lake. The topography was formed by the ice age and its characteristics can be experienced at each hole in a very different structure. The course is suitable for beginners. But it also offers enough challenges for more experienced players.

Small but mighty in Mecklenburg

Played on 8/13/2022. The 9-hole (PAR 35) course is located about 11km south of the city of Neubrandenburg on the B96 towards Berlin in absolute peace and nature almost directly on Lake Tollense (only one short view of the lake). With the A20, the nearest motorway is a little away. The facility cannot be described as a flat meadow, as there are quite a few differences in height and on lane 5 there is also an extremely inclined position to overcome. So it comes more often than you think to blind shots and you should look at the tee boards beforehand. Slight doglegs and a water hazard on hole 6 (peninsula green/PAR 3) round off the holes, which are quite appealing overall. I have to particularly emphasize the absolutely perfect condition of the fairways and greens. Despite the extremely dry weather for weeks, there were no dry spots on either the fairways or the greens and everything was lush green. The greens are also a little undulating but faithful and fast. There is no high rough and the edge of the forest on hole 5 (because of the slope, the balls almost inevitably roll into the sink) is a water hazard. On the day of my game, after a tournament, I was able to start playing as a guest in the late afternoon without prior registration. The clubhouse/pro shop is more of a container and the toilets are also housed in a toilet truck. However, the employee who accepted my green fee compensated for the lack of ambience with his absolutely friendly manner. He described practically every hole to me before the round and gave me tips for the round. €30 for a 9-hole round at the weekend is reasonable. On weekdays and on weekends after 6 p.m. you currently pay €25. There is also a driving range across the street, where holes 2 to 5 are also located. To get to lanes 3 and 4 and back to lane 5, you walk a small, slightly longer dirt road around private property. But there is little traffic on the road. If you are nearby and can do without the infrastructure of a clubhouse (there is a vending machine), I can definitely recommend the 9-hole round here.
