Characteristics
Königfeld is a spa with a climate that is beneficial to one's health. Because of the altitude of 800 m the golf course is free of fog both in spring and autumn. The golf course spreads over 80 ha along a nice course of river with numerous pools and biotopes. Interesting altitude differences offer beautiful views on the Black Forest and the Swabian Mountains.

A very nice course

Accuracy and care are needed to get the best out of this beautifully presented course. The scenery is stunning and the biotopes (natural hazards which include water) blend well with the course design to give a challenging round. We played as guests and were treated very well indeed. A well managed package, with an English speaking staff and excellent facilities.

We both, handicap 12, enjoyed playing here on August 1,2025, after a week of heavy rain. See previous reviews for the course description.
The designation "championship course" is appropriate in every respect, especially thanks to the new robotic lawnmowers. The somewhat longer paths between the green and the tee are well marked, as is everything else. It's worth studying the tee boards. The detour to Königsfeld was worthwhile again this time.

Fairways, tees and greens are in excellent condition. The green keeper team do a great job. Very friendly welcome in the office too. Go first and then come and pay.
