Characteristics
Often cited as one of the best-kept secrets in the Amsterdam region, Golfclub Houtrak offers a challenging 18-hole Championship course designed by Gerard Jol. The varied layout features both forest and polder elements, demanding precise play. A standout feature is the clever star-shaped routing, allowing loops of varying lengths. The scenic Par-3 14th is widely acclaimed, while the clubhouse terrace offers commanding views over six holes, including the dramatic, undulating green of the 18th.

Challenging
Reviewed July 30, 2013
Played this course extensively for 3 months, approx 20x. Plays long, 6116m from yellow tees. Wind is nearly always a factor. Greens are fast. If you play well here, you can play anywhere.
A really good course to test your game. Recommended!
Good practice facilities and friendly staff.
