The course has everything a golfer could wish for. Water hazards, trees, interesting holes, and it's beautiful. Holes 4 and 12 are the most beautiful and also the most difficult.
Unfortunately, it's crowded there, really crowded, really crowded. This is reflected on the course. Divots, pitch marks, unraked bunkers—horrible.
In addition, foursomes of beginners are holding up everything there and seem to have little to no idea of etiquette. Letting the ball play through is a foreign concept, and calling fore when a ball once again strays toward other players seems incredibly exhausting.

On August 10,2024, I visited the Hamburg Gut Waldhof Golf Club and was very satisfied. The facility is well maintained and beautifully situated, which made playing really enjoyable. The staff in the office were friendly and helpful, and the course offered very good fairways and greens.
After the round I was able to enjoy the good weather on the terrace. All in all it was a great day - I would love to come back.
