GOLF JEWEL AT THE SAALACH
The 18-hole Gut Brandlhof championship course blends in harmoniously with the landscape of the Pinzgau Saalach valley. The absolutely flat fairways and the river widenings and dams worked into the course make the game extremely varied, despite the alpine backdrop.
The Saalach crosses the course up to six times. The original trees along the course of the river provide soothing shade on hot days.
As a perfect addition, the golf course offers an extensive driving range with partially covered tees, a practice area for pitching, putting and bunker game as well as short tees ("Family Course"). Culinary delicacies are served in the “einkehr”. Dogs are also very welcome on site and in the Hotel Gut Brandlhof!

The reception and organization are first-class and extremely nice and friendly. The course is perfectly flat and runs alongside the Saalach river. It is precisely this river that makes the game interesting and exciting. You have to play over it several times, not just straight over it but also diagonally. This requires a good sense of distance and self-confidence. That is what makes the course special. The greens were playable but also challenging. In wet weather the course is a bit more difficult because it is flat and the water does not drain well. We were also there in the autumn after it rained and had a good game. The course is well maintained. The road noise is only a little loud on the first and last holes. But if you concentrate on your game it doesn't bother you. The restaurant is also well run and has a nice selection. We will be back.

Very friendly office, the course was in very good condition, a little "soft" in one or two places, which was probably due to the weather the previous days. For us (HCP 24 and 26) the course is always challenging. The Saalach has already taken one or two balls from us, but we are working on it. 🤣🤣. It was a great day surrounded by a very beautiful mountain panorama. Yes, there are also federal roads and power pylons, but we think that nature absolutely prevails. We would love to come back. 🤩👍
