Incredible good reviews

This is really one of the worst golf courses I have ever played in 25 years! The golf was in bad repair on the side of a busy road. On the second 9 the way to hole 10 is quite long and hilly. Astonishingly on 4 tee boxes have to be played from mats normally used on the driving range!?? I can discourage people visiting Austria to play this golf. The closest nearby golf is The Moerisch, having a much better accommodation and a marvelous view on the lake. The restaurant is 10 times better. For better understanding, I am not a shareholder of this golf. Just play both and you will agree with me.

Very nice hilly course

We played in the summer, but at 1000 m altitude, it's never hot. The course is in very good condition, everything is green. It's incredible where they managed to put two par 3 holes (11 and 16), congratulations. The mountain surroundings, so nice. If you turn off the background noise from the road (which is not a problem), it's certainly a pleasure to play.

Where the golfer / guest is king

We were warmly welcomed here in the preseason as golfers with our camper van and played 18 holes in glorious weather (what felt like our own) on freshly mown fairways and manicured greens in a stunning landscape. The course layout has already been reported on in detail here. We would like to highlight the exceptional hospitality we enjoyed from the manager, Mr. Eiper. Since the golf restaurant was still closed preseason, he asked us on the 18th tee if we would like coffee and cake to round off our round! He drove especially to a patisserie to get a cake to our liking and then personally treated us to it! He modestly commented on our enthusiasm: Golfing in Carinthia is like golfing with friends! How great! Highly recommended!
