Picture perfect

I played this course back in 2002. The views were so beautiful that I forgot how I played. The second hole had a magnificent view of the Dacstein Glacier. There is an interesting walk from the 4th hole to the 5th but what a surprise at the end of the path. Try it, you only live once.

Well

Unfortunately the fairways haven't gotten any better, in fact they've gotten worse.
Greens with some bare spots and unfortunately very slow. The rough is mowed very irregularly, the unevenness of the ground is probably to blame. As a reviewer already reported, the fairways and especially the rough are more like meadow floors. Furthermore, countless molehills are very annoying.
We have seen the place in better condition - unfortunately.

The surroundings and the view are stunning, but golf relies more on course maintenance and unfortunately that wasn't sufficient.

Beautiful, difficult place please great panorama

Have played twice in the last few days. Super friendly staff and a well-kept demanding course. Layout unusual but exciting and well signposted. Stunning views no matter where you stand. No rush, you can also play relaxed as a non-professional.
Definitely come back!

Place in top condition

We played in Bad Aussee today. The place is in great condition. As always, the landscape is uniquely beautiful and definitely recommended for a stopover.

Not my case...

Overall, it looks like you just mowed a meadow and only built the greens properly from scratch... the fairways were deep, sometimes muddy and you walked like on an air mattress. The long walk between 4 and 5 and then back again between 7 and 8 is like a riddle rally for beginners and is particularly demotivating in the heat, because you don't know when you're finally there. You walk with the trolley along the street and then past some courtyards. After about 10 minutes you stand in front of a steep, short-mown pasture. If I want to go hiking, I do it without golf clubs. If I want to play golf, I would rather have a coherent course where less time is needed for "hiking".
The ponds in between are nice and idyllic, the greens are quick and well mowed, but cannot comfort you with their rustic layout.

Idyllic atmosphere and pure relaxation!

Very well-kept place. Demanding terrain. Fantastic panoramas of Dachstein and Loser. Family atmosphere and very nice team.

Improved!

Last played here in this wonderful area in 2013 and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
The greens are in pristine condition, very well maintained, could be a little faster, but great!
Fairways and tee boxes very good, just nice to play! Place dry with beautiful fairways.
It is a shame that there are still some long ways to go between the fairways, furthermore the restaurant was not yet open.

Course length is only 2,591 m long, at par 35 (9 holes), but interesting to play, especially hole 5.

Great place in a fantastic setting

We have been playing the course for several years now. This year we found perfect greens and super clean fairways (that was not always the case). The beautiful landscape in which the square is embedded speaks for itself. It's also worth the rather long way to the lanes five, six and seven. All in all, a great 9-hole course, which is always worth the trip.

A special country-style golf course

When playing for the first time, you have to first find and find the 5th hole, because you can not imagine having to cover such a long distance. But we had a cart! The place gives but more than first thought. The next day, and also on the third day, the country course was so much fun that we will definitely come back next year.
We would also like to highlight the friendly and competent secretariat and the hospitality in this club, because the golf day starts in a pleasant atmosphere with a comfortable climate. (Despite rain)

A disappointment

Bad layout by two division, too steep at the holes 5,6,7, greens do not deserve the name, driving range only with short iron playable, it is sufficient to visit to get to know each other.

The scenery is the star - the place unfortunately not

The place has 2 problems, the layout and the sometimes poor condition of the greens.

The two-parting of the course actually requires an e-cart, because that twice the felt km from 4 to 5 goes (we played because of the empty seat 5-7 twice in a row) is already cruel in the idea. Finally, you have to get from both the 4 and the 8, past the 9, because be careful. Anyone who has come up with this would have to sit down in the subject of space design. Sorry!
The greens were partially dry and brown.

In the driving range, only the irons are actually safe to use. The tees are aligned towards the 9th hole and not very long. Well!

Do not you have to play again...

Family and sporty

For a 9 hole course absolute class with a fantastic panorama. The lanes are quite varied and also very interesting for ambitious golfers, as different birdie possibilities open up at various holes with a precise play. Highlights were for me holes 5.8 and 9. The only drawback are in fact the greens and the too short driving range, which however also diagonal can be played.
Highly recommended is also the fresh and high quality kitchen in a family atmosphere.

An extremely favorite country place

The GC Ausseerland is very nicely embedded in the rural surroundings of Bad Aussee. The 9-hole course has very nice tracks, Signaturehole is certainly the number 5. The greens are extremely slow, but this is necessary because of the heat, since the surface is very easily burned and brown. The office is absolutely friendly and helpful, the shop offers the necessary utensils. In the adjoining restaurant one is best served. The practice area (putting green and bunker) is very good, the only drawback is the range, which is simply too short - driver or woodcock is not possible at all. Dogs are allowed in the place!

Well...!

Except country has 3 Super tracks (5/6/7), where also the optics is the overriding element! The redtlichen tracks only live by the mountains, the layout itself is rather weak! With the exception of track 7 is the place to go relatively smooth and good. Even when I visited the greens were in a state Katastrohalen! And some greens were not Puttbar..!
In better condition of the place would get 3 stars, but more in no case!

Significant improvement

Intensive care and new attention to detail have contributed to a significant improvement in the available space. Now the place is a real gem set in the mountains. Hardly waiting times and best care. Nearly a tip...

Beautiful place but neglected

I played the course yesterday with glorious weather and great views of the really great scenery and views of the Dachstein.
The court, however, neglected and very wet!

The year 2013 was marked by severe weather conditions. The flood in the spring could, even though the place is in a bog, to be disposed of quickly on the 16 km drainage. The summer was the hottest since there are weather records. As a result, several fairways were partially burned by the sun on our place. 100 Although thousands of gallons of water were dispersed by the fire. Since 1:11. the place has winter break and will then be available from mid-April our guests again in the best condition.

What a view

Place: not long but sometimes a little cramped and quite a Herausforderugn as a 9 hole course.
But the real sensation is the view - a sensation around the Dachstein on hole 9/18 as icing on the cake.
