The course of the Golfclub am Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald is a good example that nature conservation and golf are not at all mutually exclusive. Landscape Golf

Embedded in a hilly landscape, the course is definitely worth playing - and at the anniversary price with a cart. Were very happy about it, since the distances between the tracks are often very long and that in the heat!
Greens were well maintained and hardly any marks on it, albeit slowly, because it was mowed very cautiously and the putts slowed down as a result. Should be because of dehydration...

First of all: we are recreational golfers, we want to have fun and enjoy the landscape. This is exactly what the Bavarian Forest National Park golf course offers.
The course is beautifully embedded in the landscape, the tracks are adapted to the ups and downs and are therefore varied. It's not a difficult course and not really suitable for those who get upset about flowers here and there on the fairway.
A lovely detail: each track is named after an animal. Although not a golfing highlight, the huge beaver burrow at hole 15 was a highlight.
The greeting in the office was very, very friendly and courteous. We can't rate the restaurant because it was closed. The selection of cakes on the blackboard was definitely delicious to read. :-)
We had a very nice day and will definitely come back - for a relaxed, beautiful round in a uniquely beautiful landscape; This place allows a playful view of the landscape.
