I've played the new 18-hole golf course several times in spring 2025. It's pleasantly flat, yet not easy. The course is a lot of fun and exciting. I have played twice this year since the course was remodeled. I come from the Ruhr area and am happy to take advantage of the offer during my holidays. It is really fun, the courses are very interestingly designed and not always easy to play. You have to be tactical here and there. The golf course is embedded in beautiful nature with lots of water.

A must for links golf fans!
The golf course was recently expanded to a full 18-hole course (par 70). The links course design was further refined and extended by star architect David Krause (e.g. Winston Links), and the sequence of holes was partially changed. New course layouts were created, with tricky par 3s, rugged dune landscapes to the left and right of the fairways, and sometimes even with rough hills in the middle of the fairways. In addition to the typical design features, such as deep bunkers, pot bunkers, undulating fairways and sometimes very, very undulating greens, further ponds and water hazards were added, which were ideally integrated into the layout.
Of course, no two tracks are the same.
Investments have also been made in the cart fleet, so e-carts with GPS monitors are now available.
At the large clubhouse you can sit very nicely on the terrace of the “Bistro Schatthaus”, protected behind glass elements with a view over the putting green or inside in a modern, stylish country house ambience.
We have played here several times and will do so more often now. After the renovation we like it even more than it did before!
