Characteristics
Vineyards, fields, meadows and forest form, together with the mighty castle, a harmonious idyll of the landscape, which is downright predestined for golfing. The course was built on the over 50 ha large area of the former estate of the castle. It offers soft hills and placid pools, partly open and partly wooded. There are several narrow passages that demand a very focused game.

Played red/blue on September 16th. Much of the previous reviews have already been correct. We found lush greens and fairways thanks to previous rainfall. Both courses wind their way up and down through the hilly landscape, with views of vineyards and the nuclear power plant. Some holes follow the valley floor below the castle. Numerous banked courses, including the doglegs, coupled with narrow fairways, guarantee Titleist, Callaway, Srixon, and other brands brilliant ball turnovers. There's no boring up and down; each hole has its own character, so that after 18 holes, all the holes remain in your memory. That's golf! The practice facilities are spacious, sometimes a bit spread out. The reception in the reception office is warm; you feel welcome as a guest. The restaurant also fits into the extremely positive overall impression. The Italian food is good. The pro shop also offers a selection. Overnight accommodations for campers are readily available in the numerous parking areas. Members of various voucher booklets: double the fun for half the price. We'll be back!

We played yellow red, blue is supposed to be shorter and even hillier.
The start is just below the clubhouse and continues into the valley with rather narrow fairways and banked slopes. The back nine is above ground with beautiful views and some very wide fairways.
The course is really fun, lots of variety and challenges, but always fair.
Overnight accommodation is available in the large, very quiet parking lot. The Italian restaurant also runs a pretty good one in the evenings.
Pro shop with friendly service.

Very nice clubhouse and terrace. Course red has very fast, good and undulating greens; exemplary maintained. The associated very narrow and inclined fairways are squeezed into the landscape under various high-voltage lines; Balls bounce and are sometimes not controllable due to the hard, dry slopes of the fairways, which are sometimes not optimally maintained.
