Characteristics
Vineyards, fields, meadows and forest form, together with the mighty castle, a harmonious idyll of the landscape, which is downright predestined for golfing. The course was built on the over 50 ha large area of the former estate of the castle. It offers soft hills and placid pools, partly open and partly wooded. Very nice clubhouse and terrace. Course red has very fast, good and undulating greens; exemplary maintained. The associated very narrow and inclined fairways are squeezed into the landscape under various high-voltage lines; Balls bounce and are sometimes not controllable due to the hard, dry slopes of the fairways, which are sometimes not optimally maintained.
The yellow course has well-maintained, wide fairways that are not too long, also slopes, but controllable, optically very nice, is fun. However, the greens are much slower than square reds.
You can do without the red seat; even a narrow space with inclines must be fair. From my point of view, this is not the place.

Played red / blue in September 2020. The course was partly due to the warm weather and the rain-poor year, very dry condition, the greens well-kept and in good shape. The landscape is delightful and offers some very beautiful views of the surrounding nature.
The course (red and blue) is demanding, an accurate game is necessary due to the sometimes very sloping fairways. Even with a handicap of 18, the course is not very forgiving and not suitable for beginners, a ball loss is quickly possible on any lane! Sufficient balls in the bag are essential. The greens undulating, sometimes very large (> 40m length), but well-kept and on track.
In addition, there are numerous, sometimes steep climbs and long distances between the two courses, so that the use of a cart is also recommended for non-senior citizens.
