Very nice clubhouse and terrace. Course red has very fast, good and undulating greens; exemplary maintained. Played red / blue in September 2020. The course was partly due to the warm weather and the rain-poor year, very dry condition, the greens well-kept and in good shape. The landscape is delightful and offers some very beautiful views of the surrounding nature.
The course (red and blue) is demanding, an accurate game is necessary due to the sometimes very sloping fairways. Even with a handicap of 18, the course is not very forgiving and not suitable for beginners, a ball loss is quickly possible on any lane! Sufficient balls in the bag are essential. The greens undulating, sometimes very large (> 40m length), but well-kept and on track.

Get off the highway and finally played the long-planned training ride in Liebenstein. It has "only" nine yellow holes of the 27-hole course served, but have fun!
Even the start in the Secretariat was promising: friendly, courteous, helpful - even though just a big tournament was over and it was busy processing the many scorecards. Class!
The course itself is very fair, varied and beautifully integrated into nature. But nothing spectacular or what a particular sticks in your memory. Large-scale and partly on the small plateau tee boxes, billboards per lane modern, uncluttered and with all the important information. So shall it! The mostly relatively wide fairways and immaculate greens of the season in great shot. Hardly any water or narrow side of bounds, but some strategically positioned bunkers challenging. Sometimes you have inclinations through the hilly terrain.
The final hole downslope ends before the beautifully situated clubhouse terrace, perfect to wind down (and warmed on cool evenings still radiant heaters is!).
So I got me on the golf course in Liebenstein very comfortable - on and off the field! I'm curious about the supposedly slightly more difficult courses red and blue, which I will definitely play in the near future too. And as I've heard, the plant will be expanded by a further 9 holes!
5 stars I think the real premium golf courses in Germany back but the 4 are seen as 4 Plus ...:-)

Beautiful place / alternative to Monrepos

We played the course (yellow and red) after a few days of rain two weeks ago.
The telephone contact and service in the club house were friendly and nice.
The place itself was found despite some water damage in excellent condition. The fairways were generous and challenging tracks. The greens were very well maintained and had virtually no marks on. Only two lanes had to "endure" the sight of the power plant. After the first nine holes, we took a short refreshment break at the restaurant where we were served in a friendly and attentive.
Thereafter, on the back nine, to another flight jostled before, even though we had already teed and had to enter the game in front of us flight time for 15 minutes.
