A dream

We are going here every winter.
Conditions, atmosphere, greens, fairways are fantastic!! Layout brilliant. One of THE courses to play in europe.
My recommendation: book a house at pierre et vacance and go there for a week of golf.

We played the course in September 2023. Despite little rain in the last few months, the course was in very good condition. In contrast to other courses in the south of France, there are no brown, hard spots and the greens are also very good. The layout is exciting and there are very different game variations on several holes. On the 11th hole I took the risk and played across the “gorge”. It worked and the second shot was only 55 meters. The short par 3s with 130-150 meters are not without short flag positions, as they are then only about 3-5 meters behind the water hazard. We would love to come back to this place. Almost 30 years ago - in 1993 - we played a round here shortly after it opened. It was our first course designed by Seve Ballesteros and is also his only one in France.
The notes are extensive for that time - without an I-Pad - but our memories of the course are not - with the exception of the scores.
At that time we had grades from 1 to 6, he got a five.
It's quite a sporting affair - playfully and physically - the rating speaks for itself. The terrain transitions are co-determining.
It is not only the layout that Targetgolf demands, but also the terrain. It gets tricky and difficult when the ball doesn't fit off the tee. The greens are no less tricky to play well.
You can always enjoy the view of the Luberon, sometimes you want to challenge your concentration, great location.
The scores on our first visit - to forget - were overwhelmed, with a handicap of the participants between 10 and 20, except for the leader who had no minus as a sign. The Mistral was certainly partly responsible. We men still play a single handicap today, but the course was perfect. It is not the length of the tours, they are on average a little over 350 meters, that determines the terrain. In good conditions it would almost be an easy affair, some trous are really tough.
In autumn, the Challenge European Tour is a guest here - it's an award - not for the first time.
You can already see the first signs of this event in the work of the greenkeepers. The course is in very good condition for the time of year.
Beautiful and great course but brutally difficult - one of the most difficult on the Côte - which rightly ranks in the top 100 list of France.

I was from 27.07. until 30.07. on the golf course with friends. There I played 2 * the 6-hole course, 1 * 9-hole on the 18er and 1 * the 18 holes on the 18er.
Overall, the complex is huge, well equipped and with great views of the Luberon. There is a small clubhouse at the large driving range and a large clubhouse with changing rooms and restaurant at Trous 1.
On the fairways it goes constantly up and down, then again around the corner (light and sharp doglegs). The deductions are sometimes quite far from the last hole.
You can divide the space into the lighter lower 9 and the heavier upper 9 holes.
Reductions, fayways, bunkers and greens were in perfect condition even in this hot summer.
Even the small 6-hole course was great laid out and well maintained.
