Characteristics
From the generously arranged golf course, which spreads over undulating terrain with about 50 m altitude difference, offers a dreamlike view on the Engadiner mountainous scenery, as well as on the two historic villages Zuoz and Madulain. It is course, which also poses a whole new challenge for practised glfers because of its demanding route planning.

... We won't become friends, this is due to the numerous inclines, the long distances from the green to the tee, and the differences in height to the back tees on some holes - the last holes are demanding.
There is no question that it is a demanding course, both playfully and physically. As soon as you leave the valley floor and play along the slope or up the slope, the challenges come. The holes wouldn't be that long - on average 335 meters - depending on the terrain!!!
The layout determines the available terrain, a number of holes were wrested from the terrain - reminds us strongly of Canada.
In our opinion, very good holes alternate with weak holes. That does not mean that they are not in order - the harmony is missing for us.
On the last holes it really gets down to business again, difficult to play and physically very strict...
Care and maintenance is good - the altitude corresponds in part very well!
The flyover animation is well realized, doesn't quite do justice to the terrain!
We are not quite as impressed as our previous reviewer: the mountain panorama, the landscape alone are not enough for five stars, the course itself and the overall package is decided. We just don't like this long-drawn-out facility very much.
And then there is the dog policy, several team members are dog owners and believe that this is not possible - dogs do not belong on a golf course.
A coin has definitely four or only three stars...
After our first visit in 2004, this is our third time here.

My wife and I played this varied course today. Basically very nice... Unfortunately the greens are in a catastrophic condition. A real hit and miss to keep the ball on the line. No information when booking and no green fee reduction... As so often, the greenkeepers did not show any consideration. After the round, I announced my complaint to the reception... Unfortunately, the MA was not impressed by my complaint - no goodwill!?
