Characteristics
The home course for short-time guests in the nearby Abano. With 27 generous championship-courses below the old castle it offers a very generous and sophisticated resort. It is only lightly contoured, with a relatively old stock of trees and is therefore very fair and forgiving. With long ways, very long courses and enough water as well as a grandiose club house.

Very nice course with perfect fairways and greens and great attention to ecology, water and energy saving, and environmental protection.
Worth a visit

Recently I got my first round in Montecchia and the course was in a great shape. The staff was amazing and I enjoed the Michelin star restaurant and the snack bar as well.

Course is not all it is cracked up to be... Yellow course is in bad shape... greens must have had some kind of disease, white course was average at best. I paid 89Euros to walk. To top it off my wife and I had our windows smashed in the parking lot and belongings stolen from our car. By the way, we were not the only car in this lot. There were many expensive cars and these individuals had items in their car... just saying. This lot was fenced and gated... and offered some protection, this course may prey on Americans or foreigners. Do not go to this course if you are an American, you may come back less some items.
Seems like they knew I was coming and took full advantage. I will never go back to this course. This is not an isolated incident with this golf course. I hope your experience goes better if you dare to visit.
