Positive surprise!

Here we had our best day of golf on our Normandy tour in May 23.
Everything is a little different here...
At first we were irritated when we drove the gravel road to the GC: the tees were not mowed and the daisies were blooming. But what a nice idea! Never seen it before: it wasn't negligence, it was intentional. Absolutely beautiful! You only had to look for the teas sometimes.
The complex is sensationally spacious.
The clubhouse pretty ratted. Morbid charm welcomes you here... and totally nice and warm people.
Everything is unpretentious, uncomplicated and pleasantly different.
The driving range is gigantic.

We played all three 9 holes that day.
We liked La Bergerie (red) the best.
Interesting long fairways completely lonely and quiet through a wonderful and open area. From time to time a small plane flew to the nearby sports aircraft airport.
La Chapelle (yellow) was our No. 2.9, which was quite narrow and the holes that were closer together challenged us more. The layout of the fairways was also partly unusual.
La Vallee runs spectacularly down and up a beautiful valley. The condition and the battery must still be enough! The last holes are then back up.
Quite a different golf experience and that's why our positive surprise.
From us: thumbs up!

Clear course that you don't have to play

We played the course with six people at the end of September '21.
The greeting was very nice and he also spoke a little German.
The club is not affiliated with the Normandy Golf Pass and we paid € 70 GF, which was just too much for this condition. All bunkers, really all of them, were not playable because they were full of water (the problem did not even begin to exist in the other clubs). The haircuts also consisted more of weeds and bare earth. So overall the place was not in good condition due to apparently heavy rainfall. Positive: you could hit the grass on the range. Rather seldom in France.
The first nine (red) can be played well, but have nothing. The white second nine are more interesting with the 11,12 and 13, but the course does not have to play a second time. The restaurant is also getting on in years and the coffee for 5 € was the most expensive of all GC in Normandy. The previous speaker had already said everything about the driveway... an unreasonable expectation.

Golf course ok, street and clubhouse well

Played this course in pairs on July 2nd. The price of a round of 18 is correct and so are the fairways and greens. Receptionist very nice and accommodating. The greens were extremely fast on this very warm day. The only complaint were the tees where some work was waiting. The first 9 holes are not too spectacular, but that's why the back nine are even more so. The 11 is a par 3 and it is best to reach the green directly because the danger lurks next to it. At 12 you hit the ball with the driver into the valley and if it stays in the middle of the fairway you can easily reach the green with the 2nd hit. Personally, I found 13 the most beautiful to play with. Here I played with a 6 iron across the valley and missed the green by 2 meters. The 14 is already exhausting because after the tee the ball is lying uphill and when you have reached it with the trolley you have to blow yourself briefly because with a pulse in the upper range you cannot lay down a clean second shot. The remaining 4 holes are no longer dangerous. A cart or an electrically powered trolley is recommended. After the round we took a seat on the inviting terrace of the clubhouse, which is getting on in years. The street is an absolute no go, no street is the wrong name. It is a rumble path with deep, wide holes and this over a length of 1 km. A mockery and an imposition, which is why I only give 4 stars
