Characteristics
Situated in the heart of the Landes forest near Saint-Avit, Golf Mont de Marsan offers a serene escape rich in history. The 18-hole course, designed by French champion Jean Garaïalde in 1989, winds through a diverse woodland of maritime pines, oaks, and birches. Known locally as "Pessourdat," a name echoing its military past, the site presents a technical and varied challenge for golfers. The clubhouse is housed in a beautifully preserved traditional Landes farmhouse, providing a warm atmosphere and local cuisine. Practice facilities include a driving range with covered tees and specific areas for bunker and putting drills.

Disappointing

Course (07/09/2016) 9:54 AM played today for two, HC 8.9 and 18.8.
The place is very nice integrated into the landscape and therefore partly also demanding. However, the fairways are disappointing with many bare spots and divots. The greens are slow and very humid and partly also littered with many pitch marks. The haircuts are just awful...
We have behind a 4p Flight played by older locals and would like to run through (as of Golf) At 10, this would have been great!!!
No chance!!! Incredible...
But we are 100 km from Labenne arrived (XL Gulf country 5 different places) Coronation: To 14:15 we wanted in the restaurant on the lovely terrace some food. Kitchen closed...
Once and never again. In contrast, GC Hossegor in all respects is a Nobel Club at reasonable prices.
