Characteristics
The fairways take course through a 2 km long and mostly about 300 m broad landscape trough of the Krebs Creek. The very nicely designed golf course poses a true challenge for players of all levels. A great part of the moraine landscape with its hills, reminding of the last ice age, and the sedge areas in between was basically left unaltered and pleases the eye with its varied vegetation.

The place is special. But this is mainly due to the surrounding area. The hills are idyllic, the ground always spongy and soft, the divots 50cm long after a full PW.
I was particularly astonished from the bunkers. These are unspectacular and flat like those found in America on a $ 30 muni course. In general, the square does not appear to have been renovated since the 1960s. The site is strangely integrated into the square. Hole 9 is not a golf hole, but a volcano from 170m away... the 10 is squeezed in, the 11 is hit or miss, the 12 has a nice arena on the right with the hill...
The main problem for me is basically the spongy surface, which forces a pure play of air. The holes are aligned accordingly on Target Golf. Too bad, you could get a lot more out on such a site as on the English Heathland courses in Surrey.
