So special!

Great course, spectacular views and an incredible clubhouse.
What a nice surprise to play here, although I did not play my best game.
Will be back to improve!

Good course

GC Varese is a very nice course near Lago di Varese. The good part of the course is that there is hardly any greenfee players and members playing during weekdays. We played several rounds on fridays and never had to book a teetime.
Play 18 holes and you will find a well prepared golfcourse with very attractive holes and nice lakeviews. After this the food at the restaurant is very good aswell, that makes a trip to Varese worthwhile.

A spectacular golf club in a Benedictine monastery from the 12th century

Very nice 18-hole park course. Fantastic long fairways and bright greens fenced in by the majestically crowned treetops make the golfer's heart beat faster.
Sporty golfers will get their money's worth here on the circuit as the 18 holes not only challenge the ghost, but with about 14 km of hilly up and down the track, the body is also challenged.
Very friendly service of all employees. Top!
Delicious lunch on the sunlit terrace offers spectacular views of Loch 1 and Lake Varese and invites you to linger over a good glass of wine after the round. Tip!
We will be back ❤️

Very nice and well maintained golf course

Very well maintained fairways, good greens. Beautiful, old trees and wonderful flowers. I felt like in a castle park. The place is not easy to play, but I like that. Green fee is absolutely appropriate. The clubhouse was once an old monastery. Elegant restaurant, good food and fine wines, very friendly service. More does not have to be said.

Well maintained in November

An interesting and well maintained place with interesting tracks and beautiful trees. Very friendly welcome, excellent restaurant with fair prices. Green fee is at € 100 on the weekend at the upper limit, but still ok.

Play and sightseeing facility from 08th August 2017.

Exceptionally beautiful area, embedded in a fantastic landscape with a great tree population and great clubhouse. By the way, something for building experts. Not to mention, very nice and helpful secretariat. Good pro shop. Price / performance ratio. As a golfer a journey into this ambiance, a must. We will be back next year.

Sympathetic

Varese played out on a hot Sunday in August ideal as plenty of shade (and trees!) Were present. Reception, members and service in the restaurant very friendly and helpful.
Maintained place in good condition, fairways and greens.

Beautiful golf day

My son and I have now played 18 holes on the golf course Varese. The course is in excellent maintenance condition, the holes are very interesting and good to play. We played a few places in northern Italy, this is one of the most beautiful places in Lombardy.
We will come back.

Beautiful Place

I really liked, especially the back 9 As others have mentioned, the club house and outbuildings is a former monastery.

Fantastic place

The clubhouse itself is worth the trip, but the golf course makes the golf day then finally forgotten.

A very well maintained, old place with a great trees, but relatively wide fairways. Meter-high cypress trees frame the elevated greens that are well maintained and fast. The place is beautifully integrated into the landscape and has a great atmosphere. It is not easy to play through the trees and the slight hilly or undulating landscape.

When I played, it was slightly hazy, so that a mystical atmosphere prevailed. The view of the surrounding mountains, I could have guessed - now that would have been too much the first time.

I will play this course again!
