We ended up here in the evening as 4th place on the camper tour after the beautiful drive along the Moselle (and a detour to Cochem, which we didn't like at all). The terrace was very full for a Wednesday (Mens Day?) and when we asked if we could park our camper overnight in the car park, the club president who was there immediately responded positively ( "yes, of course that's possible. When do you want to play tomorrow? Oh, we have a tournament, so you should play beforehand, then you'll have peace and quiet" - thank you, that was really very kind!). Sitting on the club terrace in the evening (Italian) was comfortable, and the night in the car park was very quiet.
Then at 8 a.m. we quickly checked in via the mailbox and started our round. We started (like every Wednesday) from hole 10, a bit of a long way from the clubhouse. The lawn is definitely sporty, in top condition, I particularly enjoyed holes 18 and 9 - our final hole. Some longer holes, but always fair, only a few blind shots. The weather got better and better and afterwards we sat comfortably on the terrace and had a very good meal while we watched the start of the tournament.
The showers were also top notch, with everything you need!
Overall, this was one of the most beautiful courses on our tour (and here again thanks to the CM of the GC Bad Ems we played before, who recommended Trier to us and of course to the president, who welcomed us so warmly!).

Great place - unfortunately with too little appreciation from the members
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 25, 2023
Great place, great condition, great greens, top service and just nice staff. A place that is a joy to play - not extremely difficult, but you have to think about how to play it. Some tracks look longer than they play. You can often leave the driver sitting.
What we noticed, however, is the fact that many members don't seem to appreciate this great facility and the top performance of the greenkeeping. Rarely have we seen so many pitch marks on the greens that haven't been repaired recently and so many divots on the fairways that were freshly cut. It's a shame for the facility

Nice, sophisticated facility

I have played around 250 golf courses in Germany and neighboring countries. The Golf Club Trier is in my top 10. Very well and lavishly maintained, varied and sporty courses that represent a challenge even for more experienced players. White quartz sand and natural bunker edges provide character, while vineyards in the area add a picturesque feel. A friendly welcome including instructions from the secretary round off the experience. Clear recommendation!

Holiday Golf

Relaxed, beautiful tracks without major difficulties except for a few slopes in a very beautiful landscape. Greens well maintained. Staff friendly and competent. Gastro slightly overwhelmed, but to be assessed with indulgence under corona rules. Thanks to the club for the nice day.

What a beautiful place!

An unbelievably beautiful parkland place, which is just fun to play!
It is a sporting challenge, but it can also be mastered for the less experienced. The absolute highlight is hole 18, a pity that we could only try it once!
Clubhouse and restaurant are also top.

If you have played
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 7, 2015
Beautifully situated place in very good condition. Fairways perfect, fast greens, undulating little, rather hanging discs.
Bahn 9 and 18 spectacular par 5, a long par 4, a place of power in the game asks. Competent, friendly service in the Secretariat, course maintenance staff could be more considerate. Green fee price ok. Birdiebook incl. Green fee players should sign up as mens-day, ladies-day, ... ect.
Overall, you should have played the course in conjunction with a Moselurlaub.
