It's one of the most beautiful places in Germany!

Vornholz Castle is definitely one of the most beautiful courses I've played in Germany so far (and I've played quite a few). Wonderfully laid out, interesting and varied holes, simply a beautifully designed parkland course that you absolutely must play if you're in the (already beautiful) Münsterland region.
We played 9 holes (the first 9) one day and the full 18 holes the following day, and we were absolutely thrilled. The walk from the first to the second hole is unusually long, but after that you play beautifully designed fairways; other golf clubs could learn a thing or two from the excellent signage on each hole.
The restaurant (of course called "Il Castello") offers delicious Italian food and was quite busy on both days of our visit.
Overnight stays in campervans in front of the Caddie Hall were also no problem.
The showers and sanitary facilities are also excellent.
We didn't use the driving range, but it offers something unusual – for €1 you can turn on the floodlights for 30 minutes...
The place made a lasting impression; it was in top condition and beautifully laid out!
Our conclusion - a must-play, one of the most beautiful places in Germany!!

The layout of the fairways is very interesting and varied. The course was also in good condition, with medium-fast and true greens.
We were bothered by the long paths between the holes. In addition to golf clubs, you should have a walking stick in your bag. Furthermore, we found the difference in length between the first and second nine holes to be quite large. The second nine is about 700 meters longer than the first. It would be easier to play the other way around.
These aren't real flaws, but they did spoil our fun that day a bit.
