Difficult to access and play due to slopes, sometimes significant elevation changes, and blind holes. The course's problematic architecture requires crossing the road twice. Even after a prolonged dry spell, the course remains wet with muddy open patches. Unfriendly greenkeepers who don't greet players and stand with their engines running at the tee. A four-player flight that refuses to allow individual players to complete the round. No towels in the guest showers. Overflowing ashtrays in front of the reception desk before the start of play are still not emptied after the round.

Played with a cart at the end of May in good weather. First of all: the course makes a good impression from the car park. The clubhouse terrace is inviting, the service is friendly and there is nothing to complain about at reception either. The problem is the lawn itself with its architectural astonishments. You notice that a golf course should be built in the countryside under all circumstances, regardless of whether the topography allows it or not. So a lot of pointless things are created. This leads to unnecessary climbs, almost exclusively slopes (even on the tee boxes), collecting areas that make the ball bounce towards the obstacle. Then the greenkeepers don't really care whether you're there or not, you're lucky not to be hit by a mower when you swing - there was no question of a short interruption to work as I've known it so far. The fairways are OK, the rough is high, the bunkers are rock hard but the greens were slow. Long hitters lose balls here all by themselves and the much-vaunted view is of the built-up Oberberg region... Well, great. As I said - you have to like it - I don't like it.
