Ruhpolding wants you to believe it's a great course, but that's not all true. The surroundings are superb, the course is not that special.
A lot of the same, fairways close to eachother and sometimes difficult routing. It's golf in the Alps, but the course is mostly flat. Also not a very hard course.
Practice facilities are ok, clubhouse nice. Overall too highly priced for what is offered, but nice to play once.

We couldn't find the parking space at first, so we asked at the clubhouse.
It's called Adventure P Golf. Sounded like mini-golf to me, so I drove past.
At the first hole, a paraglider landed right next to the tee, on the official landing area. Amazing! 15 years ago, I saw the course from 2000 meters, looking out towards the Hochfelln mountain. Time flies. We were missing a map at the tee until the sixth hole. With the rough cut, it wasn't always clear where our fairway was. There was a lack of structure. On the plus side, all the balls were salvageable. Bring a scorecard and reading glasses! The 16th hole has a penalty zone in front of the 10-meter green. How are you supposed to know that on your second shot?
The course is easy when mowed; only the small elevated greens require a high shot. From the 12th hole onwards, you have to walk steeply uphill for three holes, otherwise it's an easy walk. Many tee boxes are far apart. Nevertheless, respect for how you managed to create such a course amidst the existing housing. €115 a week would be a lot, but there's GAM. The food was okay, inexpensive, and very enjoyable. I had the best score of my life with 83 strokes.
