Characteristics
The course is embedded in the attractive pre-Alpine landscape of the Ruhpolding Valley in immediate vicinity to the town. In April 2006 the expansion to 18 holes was set into motion with the turning of the first spadeful of earth. The 18-hole course will open up and welcome its first guests in early summer of the year 2007. Until then the already existing 9-hole course is playable without restrictions.

Ruhpolding wants you to believe it's a great course, but that's not all true. The surroundings are superb, the course is not that special.
A lot of the same, fairways close to eachother and sometimes difficult routing. It's golf in the Alps, but the course is mostly flat. Also not a very hard course.
Practice facilities are ok, clubhouse nice. Overall too highly priced for what is offered, but nice to play once.

The panorama is beautifully framed by mountains. The condition of the place was very good. However, the greens were relatively slow. The layout of the square, on the other hand, seems thrown together. The holes themselves do not present any major difficulties and are easy to play. Our great flight partners were worth mentioning.
