Characteristics
The course was built on the 110 ha large area of the formerly flooded meadows between the Boer and Menzelfeld canals. The crossing trenches were connected with ponds, pools and trenches so that almost every hole and every green is surrounded by water. Because of the many water hazards and fairway bunkers as well as the modelled greens, the course is considered a "golfing jewel" in the East Westphalian region. It is a must for every golfer.

A very nice place with lots of water and moats. There are three 9-hole courses that can be combined. Very varied and easy to play.
Nice restaurant with an outdoor terrace and the food was delicious. Unfortunately there was only a shortened menu twice.
We were able to park our motorhome overnight about 200m from the clubhouse, next to the driving range (no power connection available). Vehicles with a total length of less than 7m are no problem. It was also possible to use the shower and toilet as long as the restaurant was open. Overall we really liked it.

I'm in NRW from time to time and then play different places there. Lippstadt is one of those that I have played several times and always like to visit because the challenge appeals. You have to play this course strategically and as straight as possible, otherwise there is a risk of losing the ball. Although the course is flat, it's not easy. Its difficulty is the moats that lurk everywhere. If I lived nearby, this course would be worth a membership because with 27 holes you can always find something to play with.

I was there on a Monday in the early afternoon and was almost alone in the square. Green fee you should have counted, since on Mondays pro shop, reception and the restoration are unfortunately closed. However the place was in very good condition. Well maintained fairway and not too high rough, always surrounded by mature trees. It comes very often water into play, including island greens! The only point to complain about is that nobody seems to think it necessary to repair pitch marks on the greens, unfortunately!
If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely play the course again! In any case, it is highly recommended!
