First of all: the people in the clubhouse and the greenkeepers are super nice - the pricing is absolutely fine - but spoiled as we are, we no longer know places that are reminiscent of the early days of golf. I Lauri is one of those: the reception closes at 3 p.m. on weekdays, the restaurant only opens at weekends. With the buggy, the height differences are not that bad, but the body has to be able to take a beating. The tees can be found with a lot of luck - but on the 6 I got the women's tee because the paint on the marking was yellow on one side and red on the other. There are some wild tracks and the fairways would go through on places other than semi-rough. The greens have the right color but are not recognizable to ordinary resort golfers. All in all, I liked the place - even if I had to sacrifice a few balls. I admire the courage of the club members in a country where golf is only just developing, to build a course in the wild and to rely on enthusiasm to make the shortcomings invisible. If you think about all this, you don't have to be annoyed but happy to be able to play on a course on the Adriatic Sea that has been released by the mountainous nature.

This 9-hole course is idyllically situated in the hills not far from the coast between Porto San Giorgio and San Benedetto del Tronto. The course is not easy to play as the lanes are on two sides of a ravine. When teeing off for the 1st and 2nd hole you have to play across the gorge. Some of the tracks are quite narrow and steep, so that precise play is required. Since the vegetation is very lush - currently many daisies and other flowers - the search for the ball sometimes takes a little longer. The nature is unique and you even have a view of the sea from the 9th hole. At the weekend there are small tournaments where you can play. The restaurant, currently only open on weekends, has excellent cuisine. In the summer you can also stay in 6 guest rooms. Then the swimming pool is also open.
