Expensive and Negative Envoronment

My experience was mixed. I enjoyed the course and scenery, but it is expensive for 9 holes, and it is overrun with frustrated grumpy old women. (I am a 51 year old woman). When we tried to start playing on a Tuesday at 16:20, a few women standing around told us we must wait for the women’s club to arrive. When we paid, we were told the women’s team started at 17:00. However, they start to gather much earlier, and try and block anyone who wants to start. When I played over the weekend, I had a discussion with two women who work in the office. they were rude and unfriendly. I play golf for fresh air, exercise and relaxation. It is difficult to play a good game with the negative environment.

Always happy

I'm now a repeat offender. I've never seen this course in such good condition. If you love peace and quiet and slopes, this is the place for you. Fairways are even and short, making fairway woods easy to play. The bunkers are soft, and the greens, while slow, are fair. Tactics are required on almost every hole; you have to play with the terrain. The nice thing is that you can play at short notice; tee times are no problem. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a lovely terrace, and the food was delicious, too.

Golfing in Bad Herrenalb

Leaving Herrenalb towards Bernbach, you'll find the Bad Herrenalb-Bernbach golf course, including access to the parking lot, about 100 meters after the last houses on the left. After about 30 meters, you'll quickly reach the clubhouse, which offers a restaurant (closed on Mondays), restrooms, and a reception desk with very friendly staff, as well as tee box T1. The course's architecture is perfectly adapted to the hilly terrain (tee-offs vary for 9 and 18 holes), and only truly reveals itself during the round. It's physically and technically challenging (a small overview map is available from the reception desk), and it's in very good condition. During the week, the course usually offers plenty of space for bookings or a "spontaneous round" (there - free - play). A driving range, putting green, and golf school (Pro Robert Fischer) complete the offerings, and after a 9- or 18-hole round, the clubhouse's restaurant with its beautiful "Bella Vista Terrace" is highly recommended. All in all, a place that I can only recommend and would love to visit again and again!
