Characteristics
The course is situated in the undulating terrain of the Hohenloher Land directly next to the Wald- und Schloßhotel Friedrichsruhe. One part of the holes runs through the former palace park of the princes of Hohenlohe-Oehringen with partly old trees, the remaining holes are set up more openly and provide a charming and far view of the surrounding vineyards.

I recently had the pleasure of playing the Limes golf course at GC Heilbronn-Hohenlohe and would like to share my positive experience. On a relaxed evening after work, I played the 9-hole Limes course and was very impressed by the design and location of the course.
The Limes golf course is very well laid out and offers a variety of strategically placed obstacles. They ensure that the strokes have to be carefully planned.
I was particularly impressed by the quality of the greens. They were very well maintained and offered consistent speed and precise roll. The bunkers were well maintained and soft and playable despite the rain.
The reception of the golf club was extremely nice and accommodating. The staff was friendly, helpful and had an open ear for questions and concerns. This definitely contributed to a pleasant atmosphere and I had the impression that guests are welcome here.
In addition to the golf course itself, the GC Heilbronn-Hohenlohe has a good practice area. The facilities were well equipped and help to prepare optimally for the round.
I'm already looking forward to returning here soon and to getting to know the other 18 holes.
