Characteristics
The club in Frasannelle is the sole course in Italy with a computer-operated automatical irrigation system, which can compete with the great courses in the USA. That means 600 sprinklers, 20 km pipelines and 100 km cable. The landscape was thus revamped that you may think nothing had changed in centuries.

A tip in advance: if you're staying in Veneto for an extended period, you should purchase the PlayGolf 54 Card through the Montecchia Golf Club. It's valid for four courses and costs a total of €220 per person:
Golf della Montecchia, Golf Club Frassanelle, Albarella Golf Links, Golf Galzignano. We were very impressed by the golf course. A beautiful parkland course with plenty of water and stunning lakes. The course is quite challenging in places, but at other times, it features very wide fairways for relaxation.

Course impressions: Very varied layout with lots of water; tee boxes are unkempt and have three matting areas, bunkers are rock-hard, fairways are just about okay, paths and bridges are partially damaged, greens are okay, semi-rough is already becoming challenging (the growing season has begun).
