Characteristics
The club in Frasannelle is the sole course in Italy with a computer-operated automatical irrigation system, which can compete with the great courses in the USA. That means 600 sprinklers, 20 km pipelines and 100 km cable. The landscape was thus revamped that you may think nothing had changed in centuries.

Course impressions: Very varied layout with lots of water; tee boxes are unkempt and have three matting areas, bunkers are rock-hard, fairways are just about okay, paths and bridges are partially damaged, greens are okay, semi-rough is already becoming challenging (the growing season has begun). Restaurant terrace with views of the course and the surrounding area.
Would be a nice place if more was invested in care.

Played this great course today (05.03.25). OK, the fairway isn't perfect yet, but the greens were world class (kudos to the greenkeepers). The fairways are very varied and challenging. Finally, the range mats deserve a point deduction.

Okay, the weather was bad and we were alone on the site. The rain clouds hadn't made it over the mountains.
Although the course is surrounded by mountains, it is very easy to play. It is located down in the valley. The greens are mostly well guarded. Many water hazards make the course very interesting.
We particularly liked hole 12, a short dogleg in the forest. Hole 15 is the highlight, a tee shot like in a fairy tale.
We enjoyed the place with a great autumn atmosphere
