Characteristics
The course from 1975 was built on even, park-like terrain with an old stock of trees, which, together with the courses of streams, calls for a tactical game. The expansion was skilfully integrated into the course. After the first 2 holes you come to the second part of the course, which is characterised by spacious fairways, ponds and the unobstructed view on the nearby foot of the Eifel. Afterwards you return to the lovely scenery of the park landscape.

Last played on December 9th, 2020. I am increasing my rating from 2013 by one star. On the one hand, despite the onset of winter, the maintenance condition was absolutely in order for the season. There were winter discounts, but the game was played on summer greens (winter special green fee of 40 € appropriate). The mixture of parkland and open lanes with some beautiful water hazards convinced me again. The somewhat longer route from 3 to 4 and from 12 to 13 through the “fairytale forest” is something really special in winter. Also worth mentioning are the very good informative tees and the extraordinary length markings on the edge of the fairways, which are wonderfully indicated on large stones. Incidentally, the clubhouse makes a very modern and good impression. In summer you can safely sit on the large terrace in front of the 18th green. Fortunately, the green fee surcharge for golfers without a hologram has been abolished, so I will definitely come back.
